# EN: Using the manager portal

**English** · [Nederlands](https://kb.iotz.io/doc/nl-de-manager-portal-gebruiken-jSY21Tk1IM) · [Deutsch](https://kb.iotz.io/doc/de-das-manager-portal-nutzen-CbqvtLHveC)

iotz.io has two separate systems, for two separate jobs:

* **The manager portal** is for the people who handle the business side: buying trackers, requesting and accepting quotes, ordering trackers, and renewing subscriptions before they end.
* **Your ThingsBoard dashboards** are where the actual machine monitoring and control happens — positions, alerts, history, live data.

This article is about the manager portal. Documentation for your dashboards lives separately — ask your implementation partner, or [get in touch with us](https://iotz.io/contact/).

## Getting access

The manager portal is invite-only. There is no public sign-up page and no login address to bookmark from here — you (or a colleague you invite) always arrive there through a personal link in an email from iotz.io, or from your implementation partner if you work with one.

If you believe you should have access and haven't received an invitation, contact your implementation partner, or [get in touch with us](https://iotz.io/contact/).

## Signing in

There is no password to remember. You sign in with your email address, and we send you a one-time link — click it and you're in. If your session ever expires, just ask for a new link the same way.

## What you can do there

What you see depends on your role:

* **A direct customer** manages its own organisation: company and billing details, who on the team can sign in, the trackers it has, and its quotes and invoices.
* **An implementation partner** sees the same for its own organisation, plus an overview of the customers it has brought onto the platform.
* **A partner's customer** manages its own organisation, the same as a direct customer — its agreement is directly with iotz.io, invoiced directly, regardless of which partner implemented it.

From the portal you can, depending on your role: request a quote for new trackers, accept or decline a quote, renew a tracker's subscription before it ends, invite a colleague, and manage who has access.

Signing in to the manager portal does not sign you in to your dashboards — they are separate accounts.
